One file, not many

Merge PDF files into one document for audit packs, plans and claims

Combine several PDFs into a single document in your browser. Useful for audit packs, plan paperwork and supporting evidence that needs to go out as one file instead of a pile of attachments.

Combine Files

Select the PDFs to combine and start the merge.

The problem with a folder full of attachments

A participant's paperwork is rarely one document. A service agreement, a support plan summary and a consent form each arrive as separate files, and sending them as a pile of attachments makes it easy to miss one. When an auditor, a plan manager or a family asks for everything together, one combined file is simpler for everyone.

How it works

How to merge PDF files

  1. Open Combine Files from Document Tools.
  2. Click the file picker and select at least two PDFs. You can select several at once with Ctrl or Cmd and click, up to 20 files at a time.
  3. Click Upload & Merge PDFs and wait for the file to finish processing.
  4. Download the merged PDF.
  5. Open it and check the pages are in the order you expect. If they are not, use Rearrange PDF Pages to fix the order.
Why it matters

Built for assembling packs

Up to 20 PDFs at once

Combine a whole set of documents in one go instead of merging them two at a time.

A new file, not an overwrite

You download a new merged PDF, so your original files stay exactly as they were.

Fits the rest of your workflow

Merge first, then rearrange, compress, redact or flatten the finished pack.

No desktop software

Everything runs in the browser, so every staff member with access can use the same tool.

Accountability

Every action is tied to the staff member who ran it and timestamped. Output files are automatically deleted after a set retention window, so you stay audit-ready without the file clutter.

Common questions

Combine PDF Files FAQ

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

You need to select at least two, and you can merge up to 20 PDFs at a time. If you have more, merge them in groups and then merge the results.

Can I change the page order after merging?

Yes. Use Rearrange PDF Pages to drag pages into the order you need, or Reverse PDF Pages to flip the whole document.

Will my original files change?

No. You download a new merged PDF and your originals are untouched.

Should I compress the merged file?

If the combined file is too large to email or upload, run Compress PDF on it afterwards.

Who can use it?

Access is controlled in Admin Tools. You decide which staff can use Document Tools.
